Seven High Youth Ministry… is coming soon!!!

We are still searching for the right individual or couple who has the "right stuff" to lead this ministry.

If you have a heart for students and think you just might have what it takes to develop this area of ministry at High Point Church then contact Pastor Greg at 928.255.9875 or by email at gsamson@hpcflag.org

Below you will see what we envision for our Jr. High & High School students here at High Point Church.

We desire to have a completely different service on Wednesday nights for our youth. From high energy bands, exciting dramas, human videos and creative dance teams we want to create an environment in which God touches the hearts and lives of our youth so that when they leave the service they are saying, "Wow, God is amazing!!!"

Ready to climb
to your high point
in God?

At Seven High we exist to connect youth with Christ and with one another. We want to see young men and women come to a real understanding of life in God's kingdom. Jesus is our hero, and our model for life. We don't invite him to come play a small part in our story; rather, we want to throw ourselves unreservedly into his story. We know that each and every person was created by God with great care and intent, and our hope is to see as many young people as possible experience that through the person of Jesus and his community. The things we consistently work on becom-ing:

Youth who…

·         Follow Jesus

·         Talk with God

·         Live as Community

·         Worship God

·         Live by God's Word

·         Do the "stuff" (Ministry of Holy Spirit)
 ·        Reach out to the world

Fellowship - a committed life. We strive to be a multi-cultural community that welcomes and unconditionally embraces each other's similarities and differences.

Acts 2:42, & 44 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. All the believers were to-gether and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

Worship - a God-centered life. We seek to be a community that vigorously pursues intimacy with God. We'll lay our lives down as a daily, living sacrifice of praise, magnifying God's purposes and promoting his fame.

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.

Bible Study - a transformed life. We seek to be a community that is immersed in and renewed by the continual study and application of Scripture.

Psalm 19:9b-11 The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey , than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Hospitality - a welcoming life. We seek to be a community with a family atmosphere that recognizes the face of Christ in friends and strangers.

Matthew 25:40 For the King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Outreach - a generous life. "Freely you have received, now freely give." In a world that idolizes power, individualism, and pride, we'll show Christ's way of serving through practical acts of love reaching out to the lost, poor, broken, hurting and lonely.

Matthew 5:15 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Ministry - a life of service. We believe and practice that every member of the church is a minister. We all get to participate in the work of the church. God gives the church leaders, not to do all the ministry, but to equip the people to do their part.

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Simplicity - a focused life. We strive to be unencumbered by obsessions, excessive possessions and activities, and to be filled with passion and purpose to seek first God's Kingdom.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Live Out Loud…

At Seven High!!!
